Dr. Gaurav Bhagia is a dedicated Oral Cancer and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a strong academic and clinical background. He has completed his Oral Cancer Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Training from the prestigious institute RCI (BIU) after his post-graduation in Maxillofacial Surgery.
His clinical expertise lies in the management of oral cancer, including removal of oral cancer lesions, resection of jaw bone (mandibulectomy/maxillectomy), excision of soft tissues such as the tongue, floor of the mouth, and buccal mucosa, neck dissection for lymph node clearance, and complex reconstructive procedures, with a primary focus on functional and aesthetic rehabilitation.
He has extensive experience in handling oral cancer resections, jaw reconstructions, soft-tissue reconstruction, temporomandibular joint surgery, jaw cyst and tumor surgery, jaw fracture, facial injuries, and a wide range of maxillofacial surgical cases. He also has significant expertise in treating aggressive jaw pathologies, including ameloblastoma and odontogenic keratocysts (OKC), with an emphasis on complete disease clearance and functional rehabilitation.
He is deeply committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care, combining oncologic safety with advanced reconstructive techniques to restore form, function, and quality of life. His professional interests include oral oncology, head and neck reconstruction, and advanced maxillofacial surgical procedures.
Dr. Gaurav Bhagia currently practices in Agra, internationally renowned as the city of the Taj Mahal, at PARIVARTAN, a center dedicated to oral cancer surgery and maxillofacial surgery, established in 1989 by the late Dr. Sant Prakash Bhagia, a renowned Plastic Surgeon of national and international repute. At the time of its establishment, Parivartan was the first dedicated plastic surgery facility in Agra, setting a benchmark for advanced surgical care in the region. Today, it stands as a dedicated center in Agra exclusively focused on comprehensive oral cancer surgery and the full spectrum of maxillofacial surgical procedures under one roof.
Dr. Gaurav Bhagia has also actively participated in national and international conferences and has served as a chairperson in numerous scientific sessions on head and neck cancer surgery and maxillofacial surgery, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and contribution to the field.
